Choosing the right jacket for spring and summer.

With the warmer weather (hopefully) here to stay, we’ve all put away our winter coats. But there are going to be some days where the sun just won’t shine in our favor. So what do you do on those days? Our friends at Trimark Sportswear have some great options for lightweight jackets!

There are a few things to consider and look for when you're choosing your jacket, mainly water resistance, breathability, and fabric content. The ultimate lightweight jacket is going to have a combination of these three things. A jacket with a water-resistant coating and a water-repellent finish will make sure you stay dry but also keep in mind horizontal vents like on the Banos Lightweight Jacket to help you stay comfortable as well. To add to your comfort, a lightweight jacket that has fabric content also helps the garment stretch for a more comfortable fit, like in the Odaray Half Zip Jacket.

After you've looked at the main features, it's time to look at the special features. We've all heard the expression "If you don't like the weather now, wait twenty minutes.", and on those days, we want options. To help with that, Trimark Sportswear has the Darien, a jacket that can fully pack into a pouch for ease of carrying. Also, the pouch can be decorated with your brand logo to help with brand awareness even when the jacket isn't being worn.

There are also jackets that include waterproof tape that run over the seams of the jacket to ensure a waterproof seal, and still others that offer an all-over reflective pattern that allows for visibility day or night.

Gone are the days of one style fit all jackets. With help from Fundy Textile and Design, you can choose the jacket that fits your needs!
